Have Faith In The Plan
Today i want to talk about having faith in the plan you set for yourself.
I used to train a client who was a world champion paddle boarder. He had the attitude of trying different things to get that extra edge.
This is a great quality to have especially if you are at the top of your game.
The problem is is that if you try something different people start getting in your ear and second guessing what you are doing.
I was forever telling him to have faith in the plan.
In the end of the day creating a plan is relatively easy the execution is the hard part and seeing it all the way through for some people is even harder.
I see it so much in the fitness industry, people jumping between different fads or routines and never really getting any good results because they never saw it through.
Either people get in their ear about trying something different or the little voice in our head starts telling us it’s too hard and things are not working.
What you need to do is know how long the plan is and what does success look like for your plan and then execute on the plan but see it all the way to the end.
Don’t just do parts of the plan you need to embrace it and really do it properly then you can look back on what you did and make an honest assessment on if the plan worked or not.
